This sentence always be my favorite quote. My life always moving by following the things I want and also my eyes always on the thing I interest. So I believed that everyone has a different world through their vision.
Most of the time I spend my whole day involved with my favorite stuff and surround by visual that I passion. In the last few years, I think it becomes easier to close to the things you want and the tools are technology call INTERNET.
The reason why I said ‘last few years’ because of not only the internet that helps us to find the thing by searching but also the system call ALGORITHMS networks system that most of the website use to collect the data of a user to adapt their website suit to the interest of each user also running our society at this period. As of lately, most of the people who use the internet and also I can feel to this system. When I go to my Netflix account, it always shows up the movie in the genre that I usually watch and it’s easy for me to find the next one. I try to log-in to my dad’s account it hard for me to find the movie I like because of this account is to collect the data of my dad’s interest.
In my opinion, the technology of the internet nowadays can help people to know the group of their interests unconsciously somehow. When you look back to your phone again it becomes the collection of personal interest. Most of the time I can’t stop scrolling down the Pinterest application on my phone because they always show me the thing I want to see continually on the panel name ‘For you’. When I tap to the picture I interest, the algorithms running to show the same idea of picture for me. And if you see others it showing different. So we can see each other interest by looking at the tools they use. It will show up the set of their personality or the thing they absorbed at that time.

Not only the algorithm system that helps us to find the thing but also shaped the vision of us at the same time. They can manage what thing to show us at random or even intended. No surprise when we forced to see the thing coincidentally even we don’t want to see it.
The same as many businesses are using this system to match they’re advertised to the customer. Over and over when we surfing the internet, the advertisement will show up during the journey and most of them are the thing that you use to click in or mention before. Last week I visited the Pomelo fashion website to buy some stuff. On-site, the webpage has a ‘wishlist’ option that the customer can book items they like before buying it. So I start to book the item and purchase the only item I want. Then a few days later, products on the wish list frequently show up on the advertising board when I open any websites.
This advertisement maybe rings the bell to some of you guys when using the internet. You can’t pay to hide it and that is the loophole and also the power of social advertising. It always surprises me when I just mention it on my blog or even talk to friends, it will popping up on sponsor’s feed.
All those civic and commercial functions — all the things that make up, govern, administer and control society — they take place on the internet.
‘The world of the internet’ seems to blend to the ‘real-life’. It’s going to take place in every single role of us. So the thought that we can choose our vision is to intervene by the lens call internet.
